01 / FIELDS OF RECOGNITION

What makes a journey matter?

Four distinct fields. Each is judged in its own context, through the work, the people behind it and the evidence that supports its claims.

Journey Authors

For those who give a journey its point of view.

Who and what we consider

The people behind a route matter as much as the route itself. We look at authorship, place knowledge and the care with which an experience is brought together.

Independent authors, guiding teams and eligible journey creators.

Proposed evaluation dimensions

  • Original authorship
  • Journey craft
  • Integrity of place

THE ROUTE

Authored Journeys

A route with a reason for every chapter.

Who and what we consider

An authored Journey is more than a collection of stops. Its sequence, encounters, local relationships and real-world feasibility shape the whole experience.

Eligible route creators and teams presenting a specific journey concept or executed edition.

Proposed evaluation dimensions

  • Route causality
  • Distinctive encounters
  • Feasibility & safety

Something that could only happen here.

Who and what we consider

A meaningful experience belongs to its place and people. We consider the agency of its hosts, the depth of the encounter and evidence of what can truly be delivered.

Eligible local hosts, independent specialists and experience operators.

Who and what we consider

Character, setting and hospitality count. Architecture alone is not enough; claims about service and guest experience must be supported by appropriate evidence.

Eligible properties and authorized hospitality representatives.

Authored Journeys

A route is more than the sum of its stops.

A considered route where the order of places, pacing and encounters builds a coherent travel story. The journey itself—not its author—is the subject of assessment.

A future ranking would count unique, eligible active ballots within one category and one scope. A position is not an expert award.

See it from their side.

Choose a perspective. Each walkthrough is interactive but operates entirely on fictional data.

What you are seeing is a design preview, not the current private application or a published leaderboard. The real Awards programme will require approved rules, authorized entries, verified voting and independently reviewed evidence.

Learn how to participate

THE JOURNEY COMES FIRST

Places are not prizes. They are what moves us.

03 / TWO DISTINCT PERSPECTIVES

A voice for the community. A standard for the craft.

A / COMMUNITY CHOICE

What resonates.

Eligible, verified people will be able to express a preference among approved entries. A provisional ranking represents community preference, not a certification of quality.

B / JURY RECOGNITION

What stands up to scrutiny.

Independent review considers originality, category-specific craft, rights, safety and supporting evidence. The jury does not simply follow the vote.

When opened, voting and eligible rankings will be available through the private platform, not as a public popularity chart. A concept preference never claims verified firsthand experience.

04 / HOW RECOGNITION WORKS

Considered from the beginning.

Recognition requires a published cycle, clear eligibility, independent evaluation and evidence. An introduction is not a nomination, a shortlist or an award.

01

Introduce a work

An eligible author, hotel or experience provider presents a category-specific entry. Membership is not required simply to apply.

02

Establish the evidence

Rights, identity, category fit, supporting materials and eligibility must be verified before admission.

03

Two independent views

Eligible platform voters may express a Community Choice preference. Independent experts examine craft and evidence separately.

04

Recognize with care

Voting, assessments, integrity checks, appeals and final publication follow approved cycle rules.

05 / PARTICIPATION

Have something worth sharing?

Authors and hospitality partners can introduce their work through our existing pathways. Awards entries will be accepted separately once the programme rules and verification process are approved.

AWARDS APPLICATIONS / NOT YET OPEN

06 / BEFORE YOU ENTER

A few things to know.

Can I apply without Membership?

That is the intended programme design. A future dedicated Awards application will admit eligible external applicants after verification of identity, rights and representation. Membership is not required solely to apply.

Can a hotel or experience operator take part?

Yes, these are intended applicant categories. A person applying for a property or organization must show appropriate authority and provide the category-specific supporting evidence.

Can anyone vote?

Voting is planned for eligible, verified platform identities under the approved cycle rules. Visitors cannot cast an anonymous ballot. Membership will not multiply voting weight.

Does the most popular entry receive the jury award?

No. Community Choice and Jury Recognition are separate, independently validated distinctions. Verified participant feedback is a separate evidence signal again.

When do nominations open?

No opening date has been approved. This page will publish the category rules, dates, eligibility and participation steps before the first cycle accepts applications.
